kobakСкажите, а кто-нибудь пробовал показывать иностранцам «Бриллиантовую руку»? Или «Операцию Ы»? Или «Ивана Васильевича»? И как, что говорят иностранцы? Смеются? Или это продукт исключительно внутреннего употребления? Не могу даже предположить, какой был бы результат; очень интересно.
Читал комментарии на IMDB, много думал. Особенно хорошие попались к «Морозко» («I don’t care if someone liked this when they were young, and i don't care if it runs on russian TV every year or whatever, and i dont care that its a beloved story to millions of commies the movie is still the worst crap ever, EVER i tell you») и к «Кин-дза-дзе» («the film’s gritty futuristic feeling is a mix of Star Wars, Blade Runner and Rosencrantz and Guidenstern Are Dead»). Правда, я ни того, ни другого не смотрел.

Date: 2009-03-30 08:35 pm (UTC)Could only find this dubbed into Russian (it should be Georgian) and with no subtitles. I couldn't follow the story at all, except to say "this is a comic scene" or "this scene is sad." Nevertheless, it was supremely enjoyable simply in spirit. The characters come through as people you would love to be around, and much of the film is carried on its wonderful music and a handful of dancing sequences. Sort of like Kusturica, but less excessive (by which I don't mean to disparage him -- I adore Kusturica's excesses) and with less stylish camera work.

Date: 2009-03-30 08:55 pm (UTC)Что же касается "слишком soviet": ну видишь, судя по комментариям, бывает, что Гайдай вполне приходится по вкусу, случаи зафиксированы. На советский быт может быть любопытно смотреть, хотя бы как на диковинку.
