Pompei—Sorrento—Napoli
Jun. 4th, 2005 07:10 pmYesterday, buying some minitomatos I was told that I parlo molto bene. Haha, that's funny.
But they can be understood there in Sorrento: a small dull overcrowded resort town, where English is heard more often than Italian, and Russian almost as often.
What can't be understood is why the so called Secret Cabinet in the Naples Archeological Museum, where all the erotic stuff from Pompei and Herculanum is collected (enourmous rock penises, you know, figures of satyrs copulating with goats and things like that), is closed on the very day I'm here.
Mannaggia!
